Full disclosure: I think tier lists are considerably more harmful than helpful; my comment below reflects that stance. Overlord is way too fragile of a deck that is far too resource hungry. I've been saying it since EN pre-orders opened months ago. It's more volatile than TKR Dual Laners was (which has a top-8, as opposed to Overlord). The deck requires yugioh-like chains of things to happen with little to no interaction from your opponent. You're better off playing Gura and sneaking in a Suisei CXC to have board wipe and damage covered. Additionally, Slime hard counters Overlord (almost board-wide hexproof) and presents a bigger board starting at lv2 and ends the game with a non-CX finisher. Four BCS events have proven me right; not a single Overlord list and 32 decks so far. I'll gladly eat those words if I'm wrong. Funnily enough, there's been at least one 5HY list in every top 8 so far, despite them all being ranked below overlord. People need to stop overrating decks due to the power of their combo finishers. If anything, decks should be rated on their power when they miss their combos.

32:06 The 2-soul BD deck was a hard meta call for a shop challenge where HOL 2 still wasn't legal yet. The problem is Gura just side attacks around Kasumi to avoid anti-burn and money counter, and gets better damage as a result (2-1-1-1).

The best part of the Miraschon 2/1 is it's useful for Standby because your climax is not +1 soul lol.

Jotaro 1/0 climax swap with bomb is useful against Hololive 8 Standby to kill Luna

Definitely like the ramble at the end; to me that sort of thing is a big reason to watch deck profiles in the first place, to get an idea of how the deck actually plays, the powerlines, what it's looking for in different matchups, etc., rather than just finding out what the text on the cards is

I've been seeing this deck a lot lately and wasn't sold on it but you've convinced me. I'll have to pick up the few things I'm missing for it and test it out. I loved the Mio drop search and was sad it wasn't really being played in anything before so good to see it is now. Also props for the Toradora sleeves I have the same ones ready for Kadokawa bunko set coming out :)

37:36 For CSM, interesting that you guys hype the spammable brainstorm; tbh I often forget that the combo has other text, but I play 4 of the makima check 3 brainstorm I just don't want to spend stock basically, that isn't going towards the topend. And you can actually plus off the makima brainstorm of course, if you would have played over something anyway or if you hit 2+ cxs (not unreasonable later on, especially if you end up brainstorming multiple times a turn)
